Transportation

SF Beer Week can be equal parts enjoyment and exploration, which means there’s often a lot of moving around.

SF Travel, a one-stop shop for exploring the City, is a great place to start planning. Check out SF Travel’s Guide to Public Transportation, which includes info, links and transportation costs for many Bay Area and City services (BART, MUNI, Amtrak, etc.). Tips: For MUNI times and buses, go to 511.org or you can call 511.

When using BART — the Bay Area Transit System — you can’t go wrong visiting the Beer by BART page, a fantastic resource for mapping out your craft beer stops.

There are also many tour companies serving the Bay Area, and one of our favorites is SF Adventure Travel, which is very active in the craft beer community — sign up for their SF Beer Week tours here.

Of course, we encourage having fun at SF Beer Week events throughout the Bay Area, but please be responsible and use public transit whenever possible. Here’s a list of transportation options to help get you around!
