We love brunch! But we really love beer! So what better way to close out an amazing SF Beer Week than with both. We searched the land over from Kentucky to Maine to Canada + back to California for the best brunch beers available. Chef Santi will offer his normal Brunch menu until 3 on Saturday + Sunday while creating some new brunch items that will be available all day long (for those of you who can't wake before 3). Follow us on Instagram + Facebook for the full beer lineup.

American Beauty

Dogfish Head

Pale Ale

6.5% ABV

In 2013, we released American Beauty, a collaboration with the Grateful Dead. Dogfish Head and the Grateful Dead both built their followings by connecting directly with their fans, so we asked those loyal fans to help drive the beer’s recipe. After more than 1,500 ingredient suggestions, granola came out on top! This year, American Beauty is back for an encore! Clocking in at 6.5% ABV (to mark the year the Grateful Dead was formed, 1965), this psychedelic pale ale is brewed with granola and succulent wildflower honey, and boasts malty and sweet notes of honey, toasted grain and citrus. After one taste of American Beauty, there will be nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile!

Or Xata

The Bruery

Blond Ale

7.1% ABV

Blonde Ale with rice, cinnamon, vanilla bean. Our take on the traditional agua fresca incorporates rice and lactose along with spices for that sweet, creamy character that we've come to love. The name derives from Valencian orxata, probably from ordiata, made from ordi (barley). Various false etymologies exist – one legend links the origins of the name to James I of Aragon, who after being given the drink for the first time by a local in Alboraya, was said to have exclaimed in Valencian "Açò és OR, XATA!" ("That's gold, darling!") .

James Bean Coffee

Allagash

Barrel Aged Tripel

10.1% ABV

James Bean is a bourbon barrel-aged Belgian-style tripel that's blended with cold-brewed coffee. The beer begins with Allagash's house blend of 2-row malted barley. It’s hopped with Nugget and Hallertau then fermented with our house yeast. After fermentation and aging in bourbon barrels for just shy of two months, Allagash adds cold-brewed coffee from a local coffee roaster, Speckled Ax. The beans are a naturally processed Ethiopian variety, known for their stone fruit and dark berry flavors. The finished beer features notes of caramel, bourbon, and coffee.

Black House w/ Cocoa Nibs + Coconut

Modern Times

Nitro Stout

5.8% ABV

This is Black House-our beloved oatmeal coffee stout-nitrogenated and packed to the gills with coconut & cocoa nibs. The result is a decadent symphony of chocolate and coffee laced with luscious notes of coconut and a mouthfeel so luxurious it's like drinking a velvet painting. It's a stunning display of liquid elegance best enjoyed while wearing your sauciest smoking jacket. Pour hard for a proper head.
